{"id":4753,"date":"2013-09-22T09:12:33","date_gmt":"2013-09-22T09:12:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chocolatemooseimages.com\/blog\/?p=4753"},"modified":"2013-09-22T09:12:33","modified_gmt":"2013-09-22T09:12:33","slug":"the-adventure-starts-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chocolatemooseimages.com\/taketwo\/the-adventure-starts-here\/","title":{"rendered":"the adventure starts here"},"content":{"rendered":"<link href=\"mystyle.css\" rel=\"StyleSheet\" type=\"text\/css\" \/>\n<p>well, i have landed in another country. i have slept off most of my jet lag. i have walked at least 10 miles in just over 3 days. and i have had only one beer because it is so expensive here!<\/p>\n<p>but i&#8217;m in Auckland, New Zealand!<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.chocolatemooseimages.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/wpid-MG_37647.jpg?resize=830%2C547\" width=\"830\" height=\"547\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>it is pretty amazing. and by &#8216;pretty&#8217; i mean incredibly. while, i am still in what some are calling The Honeymoon Stage of my journey, i am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable i&#8217;ve felt. i&#8217;ll admit, i&#8217;ve skyped with my dad quite a few times and have a local phone number which is allowing me to text with other iPhone users back home so it&#8217;s not like i&#8217;ve quit my MN life cold turkey or anything. but i have made it almost 3 days without doing anything too stupid in a foreign country and have even made a few friends!
